Databáze EPD v ČR
EPD (environmentální prohlášení o produktu) poskytuje kvantitativní informace o vlivu daného produktu na životní prostředí, a to v celém jeho životním cyklu – tzn. od těžby surovin až po jeho odstranění či recyklaci. Základem je tedy uplatnění metody hodnocení životního cyklu (LCA). Ověření EPD provádí akreditované organizace, certifikační orgány.
Databáze obsahuje environmentální prohlášení o produktu zpracovaná podle jasně označených pravidel produktových kategorií (PCR) a náležitě ověřená dle Pravidel NPEZ.
